George Town: Doctors in South Korea are scheduled to conduct at least two plastic surgeries to acid attack survivor Tan Hui Linn.
The 19-year-old underwent tests Wednesday to JK Plastic Surgery Center in Seoul and the doctors have identified three key features in the face of surgery.
Head surgeon Dr. Cho said that doctors would fit a lens similar to contact lenses for the right eye, which was blind to make the eye appear normal, adding that "eyebrow embroidery" could also be used.
Dr. Cho said he would also work for the left eye to correct the stretched skin Hui Linn feel more comfortable.
The deep scars around and in the corners of the mouth, will undergo a skin transplant.
"However, the results will depend on the reaction process.
"This is one of the most important aspects of the surgery," he said.
Part of the face, body and limbs Hui Linn was scarred by her father splashed acid on her mother and while they slept at home on October 24, 2009.

Hui Linn, who arrived in Seoul Tuesday, will be taken for a sightseeing tour for a few days before undergoing the plastic surgery scheduled for Monday.
